S.M.A.K. resolutely opts to ‘look at’ contemporary art: temporary exhibitions of work by Belgian and international artists, collection presentations, art in the city and so on.

In 2010 S.M.A.K. will present a full programme linked to a wide range of guided tours, workshops and interactive voyages of discovery. Key words here are ‘looking’, ‘wonder’ and ‘doing’. The Factory will have a prominent place in the museum: areas for work and play, an educational production house and a factory of reflections on art... and all in the spirit of Andy Warhol.
